mobility

Gavin has achieved mobility. He's not crawling - not yet. Give him a few days and he will be, I am sure. Last week he was scooting around in circles and going backwards. Now he's pulling himself forward with all his might, and he's dangerously close to being able to pull himself up on furniture. He can get anywhere he wants now, and he seems to be in heaven. This morning I watched while he pulled himself over to the basket where we keep his toys, pull out the toys, and put the basket on his head. It was sheer bliss for him. For me, it's a combination of "Where is my wee baby?", "Ooo cool, look what he can do!", and "Oh no! Nothing's safe now!"

As for my hair, I have adjusted to the loss of length now. I still hate the cut. It's not terrible, not in the sense that it makes me look like a hag. But it's not a nice cut. I'm going to go have it fixed, I'm just not sure when. If you really want to see the bad cut, look here. Don't say I didn't warn you.

It doesn't look horrible, but you're right, it's not the right cut for your face. But, you don't look hideous, so it should be painless to grow out a bit.

No, shouldn't be tooo too bad to grow out a little. Poo on stylists who give bad haircuts willy-nilly with no thought to whether it looks good on the person! :P

Poo on them!

What you should do is grow it out a little, then because your hair has a little bit of natural wave, put some mousse in it and fluff it a bit. It would be a cool mussed look.

Poo on them indeed!
Not as bad as I was led to believe though...

Mussed styles are nice, I might have to try that.

List - bad is in the eye of the beholder, as far as hair goes I think!

Hey, Ethan has that exact same hat. He hasn't worn it yet, but he also is still refusing the sling, so I'm toting him around in his horribly heavy baby seat carrier, so he has a head covering that way. The boy WILL learn to like the sling!!! Baby B'jorn is already starting to hurt my back since he's so heavy...
I agree with everyone's comments - certainly doesn't suit you, but not terrible either. Maybe you could just get it dyed platinum blonde and then spike it all upward with gel... that way you could REALLY make a statement. Just kidding...

LMAO! I love the platinum blonde suggestion Debby! ;)

That's funny about the hat! Gavin and he must be destined to be friends. Gavin had the sail boat outfit that Ethan has on in one of the pics on your site!

Sweetie, you look fine. But if you are not comfortable with the cut, then it doesn't matter what anyone else says. You have to feel good about it. You are always beautiful to us.

Loe and Kisses,

JKM
