He's Here!

Dermot Leroy was born last night at 7:08 pm after roughly 17 hours of labor. Labor stalled for a few hours in there, then was slow to start up again, so it wasn't 17 hours of hard labor. Dermot was born in the water at home. He is 21" long and weighed 9 lbs 10 oz.

He's such a wonderful baby. Our experience has been perfect with him - an awsome birth, great nursing so far, and a fabulous start to our babymoon. Even Gavin is doing great with him. He stayed with Grandma all day yesterday and through the night and first met Dermot this morning. He's done remarkably well sharing Mommy with his brother, and loves to hold "Dermint" as he calls the baby.
